Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring a partner to dance with?
Nope, you don’t need to bring a partner, or even know anyone!
In our classes, we rotate partners regularly.
This helps everyone get to know each other and improves your dancing faster.
Of course, you’re welcome to bring a partner if you’d like, but it’s not a requirement.
Can I bring my romantic partner (and only dance with them)?
Absolutely!
In Country Swing, we usually rotate partners in class.
However, couples who wish to remain together and not rotate, may absolutely do so.
What if I have never danced before? (What if I have 2 left feet?)
If you’ve never danced before, don’t worry!
- Our classes are designed for beginners
- Most students start with zero dance experience
- Country Swing is one of, if not the easiest partner dances to learn
Remember:
- Every dancer was once a beginner
- Our supportive community is here to guide you through your dance journey
What is the age range?
Minimum age to attend is 18.
Most of our attendees are in their 20s and 30s, and some in our 40s but it is open to all 18+.

We are also able to host a separate teens only (13-18) group dance class / event upon request.

What is the difference between Country Swing and West Coast Swing?
Country Swing is all about fun moves and cool tricks, with less focus on footwork, timing, or rhythm, making it easier to learn.
West Coast Swing focuses more on technique, footwork, and connection, making it great for people who want to enjoy a smoother, more technical approach to dancing.
